From the Washington County Commissioners Office...Many residents have requested more information on the Wind Companies interested in Washington County. The County Administrator has invited the Wind Companies to talk to Washington County residents on Thursday, August 12th beginning at 7:00 PM MST. From 7:00 PM. to 8:00 PM, various wind companies will be introducing themselves, stating which current or planned projects are planned for the county, and the benefits their project(s) are expected to bring for our residents. From 8:00 to 9:00 PM there will be a question and answer session with the Wind Companies. As always, please be respectful of our guests and neighbors. This informational session will be held at the Washington County Events Center located at 552 West 2nd Street, in Akron Colorado or you can join by Zoom.
