The Town of Akron has scheduled chip sealing of the following streets for Monday, August 12 through Tuesday, August 13, weather permitting, beginning at 8 am.
- On Delta Avenue: 4th Street to 9th Street
- On Custer Avenue: 1st Street to 8th Street
- On Adams Avenue: 1st Street to 8th Street
- On Date Ave: 1st Street to 8th Street
Please have all vehicles removed from the street by 7:00 am. If they are not moved off street, they may be towed at your expense.
Vehicles can return immediately after chip sealing is complete.
Please note that trash service for the entire week will be disrupted as all our employees work on this project.
- Business dumpsters will be picked up very early each morning.
- Residents put trash out early on pickup day and be patient, please.
